The Biggest Tonsils Ever

We got to the hospital about 8:40 after dropping Ean off at Grandma Susan's. I kinda of explained to him what was going to happen but i don't think he really understood. When we got to the right place there was a baby crying and it made him really nervous. We checked in and they gave him his id bracelet after a bit of sweet talking. We got checked in they weighed him and checked his vitals then they showed up to our room and we got him in his gown. we had to wait like 15 mins to see the dr. he went over all the no nos and said he had one before us so it would be a 30 min wait.
So Dayson had to find some ways to kill time. He played games on my Ipod
Colored in a book they gave him.
When they finally took him away i walked w. em to the door cause i could tell he really didn't want to go. but he was extremely brave. The day after his surgery i asked him about what they did. He said that they put him on a table and put a mask on his face. and he says and i didn't want to and i cried. Poor kid

While Dayson was in recovery waking up Dr. Catten came to tell me everything went great. he also said that those were the biggest tonsils he has ever seen in a kid his size, and that his adenoids where huge too. The Dr. wanted to know how he breathed out his nose and i said he didn't. The thing that is amazing to me is its not like he has gotten any sicknesses that made them swollen. They were that big all the time.
This is right when they brought him back. he was sorta awake and very mad. he didn't cry but his wimpy mommy did. his arm under the blanket still has the IV in it.
He fell asleep so i went and got his prescription and bought him this Lion. when Ean got tubed they gave him a stuffed animal to love. They didn't give him one so i got this one for him to hug. He has carried it around ever since. he calls it his tiger. it is extremely soft.
When i got back to sit w. him he woke up so i tried to get him to drink so we could be released. But the poor kid couldn't keep nothing down and they wouldn't release us until he did. He was drowsy so i let him listen to music and he fell back asleep. I talked to the nurses to see if they could give him something for his stomach. They gave him Morphine right after the surgery and i think that was the reason he was having so much trouble. whatever they gave him worked
After he kept his drink down he begged me to get them to take out his IV. Finally they did and the we got to go home. Except he didn't want to go home he wanted to go to Gma Susans and would tell you all about it if you said okay lets go home.
Here is his Iv w. the cute Dinos on it

Dayson relaxing at home. playing his gameboy.

Dayson is doing really well. He did extremely well Saturday but had a rough start on Sunday. the morning time is the hardest for him, and he doesn't have much tolerance for Ean. he also has the squeakiest lil voice. It is so extremely cute.

I really can't wait to see the improvements in his life

What a tough little man! It is so funny that these things are so much harder on the mommy's than on the little ones! They should have given you something to relieve your pain ha ha! Speedy healing Dayson!
