Last wk was back to school night for both boys. Dayson was so excited to go to the school. He got to meet his teacher and see his classroom. His teacher is Mrs. Baker, and he goes in the afternoon. Then we wandered the school so he could look around. They remodeled the whole inside this last summer. I don't know what he expected but when we were leaving he say " that wasn't as fun as i thought it would be.
Eans back to school night was last Thursday. He was so excited to go "his" school. he tried to lead me to his old room. he was pretty insistent that it was where he needed to go. But finally we found his new classroom. His teachers are the ones who taught Dayson while he went there. I love them. They are wonderful teachers. Everyday since then he has tried to go to school.
The bus picks him up at 8:06. But w. it being a preschool bus the parents have to get on the bus w. the kids and strap em in. They wear harnesses that look like they are going jump out of a airplane. i'm glad they want to keep my baby safe but it really messes w. the time the bus shows up. So we usually head out at least 5 minutes early. When the bus pulled up Ean ran as fast as he could to the bus. Teslie was so sad to see him go
Ean was suppose to get home at 11:22 (i love the exact times the bus drivers give) i was planning on going out about quarter after to wait encase she was running ahead. But instead i got a call at 5 after. The bus was way ahead. he still hasnt worked out his description words yet so he didn't tell me much just that he had fun, and that he was so tired. everytime he had to move off the couch he would tell me "but mom i'm so tired". Good thing he still naps
Dayson has been ready to start kindergarten since last year. He has been counting down all summer.
Yesterday was his kindergarten testing so they can get a baseline for where the kids are at. He did really awesome. although he is to smart for his own good. His teacher didn't tell him if he got it right or wrong. so he started watching if she marked it right or wrong. He started to get frustrated when he would get the answer wrong. Towards the end he gave up cause it was getting hard and he wasn't getting em all right. defiantly first born
Since he wanted to ride the bus and his dorky mom wanted pictures of him at school. i made him let me take him up and take pics then took him to the bus stop. He rides the same bus home so i tried to introduce him to the bus driver so he would make sure to get on her bus but he was to busy saying hi to all of his friends from church.
I've been so ready for him to go to kindergarten. he is so ready to get away from me and learn. but i have to admit i teared up when the bus pulled away. my baby is growing up.
The bus should drop him off any minute and i can't wait to hear about his day.

adorable. I love the back to school times. I totally relate to all the supplies the kids bring and how full the backpacks can get.
